A teenager has died after being shot Thursday in Jacksonville. Police were called at 8:13 p.m. to the 300 block of West College Avenue for a report of shots fired. Officers found a yet-unidentified 18-year-old man with gunshot wounds, according to a Jacksonville Police report. The teen was taken to Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, where he later died, according to the report. A 61-year-old man is dead after crashing his pickup truck into a ditch Thursday afternoon in Arcadia. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck was headed south on SE Hillsborough Avenue toward Hibiscus Drive. At around 1:53 p.m., the truck reportedly veered off the road and crashed into a mailbox before getting back on the road. The vehicle then drove into a ditch and overturned, ejecting the driver.
