Selmon Expressway reopens following fatal crash Saturday night.
The Lee Roy Selmon Expressway’s westbound lanes reopened at 2:41 am Sunday after a motorcycle crash Saturday night killed a 28-year-old man. The Tampa man suffered fatal injuries after losing control of his Ducati motorcycle east of Bay to Bay Boulevard and colliding with a chain link fence at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday. All westbound lanes were closed after the crash. Traffic was rerouted onto Willow Avenue. The highway reopened at around 2:41 a.m. This was the second fatal accident
