A motorcyclist is dead after a crash with another vehicle on Penzance Boulevard in south Fort Myers Monday night. According to South Trail Fire District, the crash happened near 7420 Penzance Blvd. A man driving the motorcycle died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle did not report any injuries. A 33-year-old man was arrested Sunday by Hialeah police after the man’s nephew accidentally shot himself with his gun, authorities said. According to an arrest report, D J S Jr., of Miami, has temporary custody of the 10-year-old. A Plantation house fire that left a beloved doctor dead is being investigated as a possible case of arson, sources with knowledge of the matter tell Local 10 News. A suspected DUI driver was found passed out behind the wheel in downtown St. Petersburg with two young children in the car, according to an arrest report. St. Pete police found Lucaya Barlow, 37, unconscious with the car still in gear while stopped at a traffic light on Saturday.
