Highway 98 and Erin Drive. According to Escambia Fire Rescue, a SUV left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the vehicle fire to prevent any further spread into the woods. The situation was brought under control by 9:46 p.m.

A Spring Hill man killed his brother before taking his own life on Black Friday, Hernando County deputies said. According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, its emergency communications center got a 911 call at about 11:25 a.m. from A. C, 39. A 22-year-old woman was arrested last week after she stabbed a man in southwest Miami-Dade, an arrest report obtained Monday by Local 10 News stated. Officer responded to a road rage incident at 714 Perkins St. around 5:06 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. A Miami man was arrested Thursday morning after he attacked his roommate with a kitchen knife, leaving the victim with multiple stab wounds, authorities confirmed Monday.
