Jacksonville police: Two men shot at each other during argument, one struck in the chest

Two men shot at each other during a verbal altercation in the 1200 block of Kings Road Monday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Police say they were strangers to each other. Firefighters clean up a crash between two semi-trucks and a cargo train in Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, Fla. (WCJB) – The traffic mess in Hawthorne got worse tonight before it got better. Firefighters cleaned up a spill following a crash between two semi-trucks and a cargo train. (TNND) — A Spirit Airlines plane was forced to divert its landing Monday after being struck by gunfire, an airline representative told The National News Desk (TNND). Flight 951 departed Fort Lauderdale, Fla. bound for Port-au-Prince, Haiti at 9:05 a.m. EST, according to flight tracking information. The flight arrived instead at Santiago, Dominican Republic at 12:33 p.m. AST.
