Caught on camera: Inmate seen attacking Falkenburg Road Jail deputy

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance footage showing the moments an inmate attacked a deputy. The video was taken inside the Falkenburg Road Jail on Oct. 19. The attack lasted for several minutes before another inmate stepped in. Car crashes into Hallandale Beach home

Officers could be seen taping off the scene at SW 1st Street and SW 1st Avenue, off of Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Deadly crash temporarily shuts down all eastbound lanes of Gandy Boulevard

A deadly crash shut down a portion of Gandy Boulevard for several hours on Thursday evening. The crash happened around 5:30 pm on Gandy Boulevard at Brighton Bay Boulevard. All eastbound lanes were closed, causing traffic to be at a near-standstill for miles along the roadway. Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run crash in northwest Miami-Dade

According to Detective Angel Rodriguez, the crash was reported at 2:49 a.m. in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 132nd Street. Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Manatee County, FHP searching for driver

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly hit-and-run along a busy stretch of U.S. 301 in Manatee County. According to FHP, a vehicle hit a pedestrian early Friday near the intersection with 44th Avenue East, south of Bradenton. A 37-year-old man from Ocala is dead after a motorcycle crash last night. Florida highway patrol officials say the 37-year-old was traveling down southwest 103rd street road just before 10 pm. A 59-year-old man from Ocala was traveling south down southwest 62nd avenue when the 37-year-old motorcycle driver hit the front of the 59-year-olds vehicle.
