A man was found dead in Jacksonville’s Longbranch neighborhood on Thursday. According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to East 21st Street about a person shot. Police found a man with a gunshot wound. He was found dead at the scene. Cape Coral police are investigating a crash near Burnt Store Road and Embers Parkway. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, all northbound lanes of Burnt Store Road were shut down near Embers Parkway. As of 9:35 p.m., all roadways were reopened, according to CCPD.
