A 36-year-old Fort McCoy man was killed on Friday evening after his motorcycle was rear-ended by another vehicle. CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – A 44-year-old man from Starke died in a crash in Clay County early Saturday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. FHP said around 1:45 a.m., the man was driving a pickup truck westbound on Carter Spencer Road, and when he tried to negotiate a curve, he left the roadway to the right for unknown reasons. Troopers said the pickup truck then went through a fence and crashed into a tree, where he came to a final stop.

The Boca Raton Police Department announced Friday that it had arrested two people in connection with a carjacking that occurred along Southwest 18 Street Thursday afternoon. Kevin McCall, 19, and a 17-year-old boy were both charged with carjacking with a firearm. A 68-year-old Pensacola woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash Saturday in Escambia County, according to FHP. Troopers say the crash occurred around 5: 30 p.m. when a 62-year-old Pensacola man driving an Audi SUV was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 approaching Exit 17 to Scenic Highway. According to FHP, the Audi struck a large concrete wall after losing control while taking a curve in the roadway. This caused the SUV to spin in the ditch, ejecting the front passenger.
