Police are investigating after dispute led to a fatal shooting at a Mexican restaurant in Fort Lauderdale early Monday morning. The incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. at Antojitos Mexicanos located at 3943 Davie Boulevard. Florida Highway Patrol is trying to find the driver they say was behind the wheel of a pickup truck that hit and killed a pedestrian on Ocoee Apopka Road Saturday night. According to FHP, a 2020 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck traveling southbound on Ocoee Apopka Road south of Demastus Lane hit a pedestrian who was lying in the roadway. A man was arrested on Saturday night following a stabbing that left his brother injured, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the 6800 block of Cornelius Lane just before midnight, where they found a man suffering from stab wounds to the hand and chest. A fatal crash in Hernando County left two dead on Sunday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol announced. Just before noon, a 22-year-old Brooksville woman driving a Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Daly Road when she entered the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a 70-year-old Homosassa man. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Daly Road and Lake Lindsey Road. Both drivers were found fatally injured on the scene, FHP said. The investigation is ongoing. At
