A man from Gainesville is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Alachua Wednesday evening. According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, a 50-year-old man was driving a motorcycle down US 441 at around 7:30 when he collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Northwest 163rd Lane. A 61-year-old man is dead after striking a pickup truck Wednesday morning in St. Johns County, Florida Highway Patrol said. Officials said an SUV was traveling south on State Road 207 in the left lane. A pickup truck was stopped in the right-turn lane of Cypress Links Boulevard. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of four individuals after a shooting in Bayou George over the weekend. According to officials, early Saturday morning officers responded to an address on Charles Road in Bayou George about a shooting. When they arrived they found a man had been shot, he has since been treated for his injuries and remains in the hospital. It was found that the victim agreed to sell a small amount of marijuana to another man.
