Child, adult injured in crash outside Bradenton school: Florida Highway Patrol

Two pedestrians were taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Bradenton, Florida Highway Patrol said Tuesday.

The crash occurred in front of Oneco Elementary School on 53rd Avenue East and 22nd Street East just before 8:30 a.m. One adult and one child were injured in the crash and are being treated for minor injuries.

The incident reportedly occurred outside of a construction zone that could have obscured the sidewalk from drivers as they pulled out in the roadway.
