A Chipley man is dead after an accident on Highway 90 and New Prospect Road in Washington County on Wednesday.
According to a news release, the incident happened at 12:17 p.m., as the 70-year-old man was heading West on US Highway 90.
The driver failed to maintain a single lane resulting in his vehicle exiting the south side of the road, and overturned in the ditch, FHP officials confirmed.
The driver’s next of kin have been notified, no other information has been provided at this time.
