Crash causes slowdowns on SR-528 in Orange County, FHP says

A crash involving two SUVs forced all westbound lanes of State Road 528 to temporarily shut down Friday morning in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers responded to mile marker 23, west of Dallas Boulevard, reporting fire rescue was on scene assessing injuries as of around 8:30 a.m.

Within the hour, only the leftmost westbound lane remained blocked, traffic cameras showed.

Drivers were advised to use caution in the area and to find alternative routes as traffic was backed up to before the Dallas toll plaza, according to FHP and FL 511.

No further details had been shared or confirmed at the time of this report.
