The Florida Highway Patrol and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a pickup truck crash that injured a motorcyclist.
According to FHP, the crash was reported near the intersection of 56 Avenue Northeast and Everglades Boulevard North at around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies and troopers temporarily closed one traffic lane while working the scene.
The roadways have since reopened.
FHP reports that the motorcyclist was injured from the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
