At least one person was injured and hospitalized following a crash at Lyons Road and Boca Lago Road a little before noon on Friday.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue rushed to the scene over the overturned vehicle. Sources familiar with the rescue operation said one elderly driver was transported to West Boca Medical Center. Her condition was unclear. It was also unclear if other vehicles were involved. Those near the scene indicated it was a one vehicle crash.
It was not immediately clear what led to the car overturning. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue professionals were able to promptly extricate the victim.
