A deadly crash has shut down part of Dr. Phillips Boulevard near Palm Lake Elementary School.
The crash happened just around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning at Craindale Drive.
FHP says one car was involved, and the driver was taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
WESH 2 cameras captured a BMW completely destroyed, with its front hood up, and all the air bags deployed.
Car parts and debris were scattered all over Craindale Drive. A street pole was also knocked over near the car.
All of the northbound lanes are shut down in the area.
