An 18-year-old woman was arrested after being accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Orange County deputies identified the suspect as 18-year-old Z C, who was the victim’s boyfriend at the time of the incident.
C was arrested in Houston, Texas, and is facing a second-degree murder charge, according to deputies.
The incident occurred in August at C’s home on Florence Vista Boulevard in west Orange County.
The victim, 19-year-old T M, died before deputies could get to the scene, according to deputies.
Investigators said an argument broke out between M and C because M would not give her access to his phone.
The arrest report said things got physical, and M was stabbed multiple times.
Detectives revealed that C drove M to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee but did not get out of the car.
M’s friends took him inside the hospital while C drove back home.
The next day, C posted a picture of the two of them on social media, saying, “… if I could take it back or trade place in a heartbeat I would #LLTD, i love u always I’m truly sorry for what I did it wasn’t supposed to be this way.”
An autopsy report showed M had two old, healed stab wounds near his left shoulder and a new stab mark from the August 14 incident that struck the bone.
Another stab wound struck M’s heart.
Detectives spoke with M’s manager at Subway, who said M would come into work looking “beat up” and told her about incidents where C attacked him.
The manager also noted that C would come into Subway and watch M work without speaking to him.
Orange County investigators reported another incident at Ocoee High School in December 2023, where C attacked M for not allowing her to look in his phone.
Detectives found messages on both cell phones showing C threatening to kill M by stabbing him and regretting not killing him previously.
Messages from March 29 included C telling M, “and ima spit in yo grave” and “I wish you would’ve died that day” several times.
Another message read, “Seriously, I hope you die a very painful death, and I mean ts.”
His family is heartbroken.
WESH 2’s G P-B spoke with the victim’s mother, who was too distraught to talk on camera.
She said M was her only child, and the family is still grieving and processing the tragedy.
