Deputies: Woman shot, killed during domestic dispute in Edgewater home

A woman is dead after she was shot during a domestic disturbance in Edgewater on Thursday, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the incident was reported at around 5:10 p.m. at a home off Liza Clinton Road.

The man accused of shooting the victim to death received treatment at the scene for a minor injury, according to deputies.

Detectives will be interviewing him for further information.

Neighbors near the incident scene said the home is usually quiet.
