Deputies: Woman stabbed with steak knife in Brownsville

A woman was attacked with a steak knife Tuesday afternoon in Escambia County, according to deputies.

The incident happened in the 2400-block of West Blount Street, near S Street, before 2 p.m.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says the victim told investigators a male acquaintance stabbed her with a steak knife near her elbow.

The victim was treated and taken to a nearby hospital.

No arrests have been made yet.
