One person dies in a car accident, in North Lauderdale.
Around 11 hours and 48 minutes in the morning on Wednesday, October sixteen officers from the Broward County Sheriffs Office Traffic Homicide Unit rushed to the scene of a car accident close to the area of Rock Island Road, near the 1200 block.
Joinvil Rodriguez was, behind the wheel of a red 2006 Nissan Sentra heading north on Rock Island Road when he suddenly swerved to the left hitting a median curb before crossing over and crashing into a palm tree.
The North Lauderdale Fire Rescue team arrived at the location. Took Rodriguez to HCA Florida Northwest Hospital for treatment but unfortunately later confirmed his passing.
Investigators suspect that the accident could have been caused by an issue.
