Firefighters recused a dog after a house fire in Golden Gate on Sunday.
According to the Greater Naples Fire Department, crews were dispatched due to a kitchen fire at a home on the 30oo block of 54th St SW.
One person got out of the house, but crews found a small dog in the bedroom.
The dog was located conscious and breathing, but it did inhale smoke. Crews gave the dogs oxygen, and the fire department said the dog is doing fine.
No other person/animal was injured. However, three people and one dog are displaced and without a home. Crews contacted the Red Cross for help.
