Dog rescued from mobile home fire in St. Lucie County

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A dog and two people were rescued from a mobile home fire, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD).

At 10 p.m., units from the fire district responded to 16 Kachina Lane in Port St. Lucie after receiving calls about a fire.

Firefighters were able to perform a “quick attack” to control the blaze. No other homes were threatened by the fire, SLCFD says. The two people and the dog are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
