A driver drove his vehicle into a pool in a Margate neighborhood Tuesday.
The crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. at a home in the 1400 block of Northwest 62nd Terrace, just off Margate Boulevard.
Police and a tow truck were at the scene.
“A resident inadvertently crashed their car into the pool,” Lt. Al Banatte, a Margate Police Department spokesperson, said in an email to Local 10 News Tuesday.
The owner of the home says the driver was her 69-year-old father and said her family members jumped in to help get him out.
No one was hurt and authorities were investigating the cause of the crash, Banatte said.
