The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is working on a traffic fatality on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies said around 1 p.m., the incident occurred in the westbound lanes of Emerald Coast Parkway at the entrance to Lowe’s in Destin.
As a result, westbound traffic is being diverted down Regatta Bay Boulevard.
Officials are urging drivers to use caution and expect delays.
