A man from Dunnellon faces assault and battery charges after Marion County Sheriff’s deputies say he attacked two strangers in their vehicle.
Deputies say 43-year-old Robbie Mikolaj blocked the roadway at Southwest 93rd Lane Road and forced the victims to stop.
The driver told deputies Mikolaj attacked her and her 86-year-old stepfather.
Deputies say Mikolaj gave them bizarre statements, such as the van the victims were traveling in being “fake.”
