A house fire early Saturday morning resulted in one death, according to Santa Rosa County.
The incident occurred on Shimmering Pines Road and the call reporting the fire came in at 4:39 a.m.
Multiple agencies, including Pace Fire, Avalon Fire, Allentown Fire, Skyline Fire, Escambia Fire, Lifeguard EMS, and the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
