A 71-year-old woman died after she was struck by a car attempting to walk across Military Trail in West Palm Beach on Thursday.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) crash report stated that at 8:25 a.m. a Chevrolet Suburban was traveling south on Military Trail in the left lane.
The woman was attempting to cross the road at the intersection of Orleans Court and walked directly in the path of the SUV, resulting in her being struck.
Officials pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
