Miami and Coral Gables firefighters put out a blaze at an electric golf cart dealership along U.S. 1 near the border of the two cities in Coconut Grove.

According to Miami Fire Rescue, units responded to GEM of Miami, located at 3850 S. Dixie Highway, just after 7 p.m. Saturday.

Officials said when crews responded, smoke was billowing from the single-story building; the call was upgraded because it involved electric vehicles.

Firefighters had the blaze out within 45 minutes.

No one was hurt due to the fire; a person was taken to the hospital with an unrelated head injury, officials said.
