An electrical issue sparked an accidental fire in the crawl space of a home in Palm Beach County on Thursday.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) said firefighters were called to ahouse on 56th Place North, off 140th Ave N. Firefighters learned that a crawl space under the home caught fire.
Crews said it took about 25 minutes to extinguish the fire. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
One of PBCFR’s fire investigators determined that the fire was accidental, and it was started due to an electrical issue.
The Red Cross was called in to assist the residents affected by the fire.
