In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a family in Lantana escaped disaster when their mobile home erupted in flames.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) stated that at around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a family awoke to smoke filling their mobile home on Joshua Lane.
The family evacuated and proceeded to call emergency personnel, the report stated.
PBCFR firefighters arrived on the scene and reported finding the mobile home engulfed in flames, with heavy smoke and intense heat conditions. They searched to ensure no one was left inside the structure.
The report stated that the firefighters brought the fire under control within 15 minutes. It took an additional 45 minutes to extinguish the flames completely.
No injuries were reported and PBCFR’s in-house fire investigator will be looking into the cause of the fire.
