A female employee at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Pensacola shot a man during an altercation in the hotel’s laundry room on Monday.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. at the hotel on Main Street.
Pensacola Police say a man approached a female employee, leading to an argument. The woman, fearing for her safety, then shot the man in the leg. He suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Police say no charges are being filed against the woman.
“Charges may come later for the male,” police say in a release.
Police add that the man and woman both knew each other.
No further details were released.
