FHP arrest man on hit-and-run charges and driving without a license

A man was arrested after Florida Highway Patrol troopers say he crashed a car without a driver’s license.

Then walked away and blamed it on his dad.

Troopers found 49-year-old EJ J walking around near the wreck.

They say they found J’s car wrapped around a tree with his father inside.

Both he and his father told troopers JS was behind the wheel.

But FHP officials say their injuries show that J was behind the wheel, without a proper license.

He was arrested and is facing hit-and-run charges.
