Three people — including two students — were hospitalized with minor injuries in a crash involving an Escambia County school bus Friday morning.
It happened around 8 a.m. on Highway 95A near Highway 29.
The crash involved two cars — driven by a 20-year-old Cantonment woman and a 22-year-old Cantonment man — and a school bus driven by a 71-year-old Pensacola man.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the school bus was stopped in the southbound lanes of County Road 95A to pick up a student when one of the cars rear-ended the other car, which then hit the school bus.
Sixteen students were on board the bus at the time of the crash. Two students and one car driver were transported to a the hospital with minor injuries.
The other car driver also suffered minor injuries, but refused transport.
There are no details on any citations at this time.
