Florida Highway Patrol says an Ormond Beach woman was killed late Monday night after she was pinned between a car and a tree in Flagler County.
A report from FHP says the 59-year-old woman was on private property off of Strickland Road when she forgot to put her car in park.
Troopers say the car began to roll as the woman got out, eventually colliding with a tree on the driver’s side.
Investigators say the impact pinned the woman between the door and the driver’s side of the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
