FHP: School bus involved in crash on US-17 in Clay County

A school bus was involved in a crash on U.S. Highway 17 in Clay County Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the crash happened around 1:39 p.m. on US-17 at Village Square Parkway.

According to the crash report, the school bus was stopped in the left lane on US-17 at a red light as a sedan was attempting to pass it. 

The driver of the sedan attempted to pass the school bus on the left to get into the left lane, but struck the back of the bus.

There were three passengers on the bus at the time of the crash. FHP said there were no injuries reported.
