A small plane crash-landed into a Florida lake on Sunday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the aircraft, a 1979 Beech Craft model A36 single engine, was en route from Brookhaven, New York, to Winter Haven, Florida, when its engine stopped mid-flight.
The pilot and co-pilot managed to crash-land the plane into Crescent Lake.
Residents in the area quickly responded and helped the occupants to safety.
The two occupants in the aircraft survived the crash and were not injured.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and are expected to investigate the incident.
