A suspect chase on Monday resulted in a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper crashing into another vehicle and a light pole.
FHP stated that Lake Worth District units were following a reckless vehicle driving southbound on I-95, south of Blue Heron Boulevard.
The report states that the suspect then got off of I-95 south onto Congress Avenue while the trooper continued to pursue the vehicle.
According to officials, the trooper lost control of his patrol car and crashed into another vehicle and a light pole near Old Congress Road and Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach.
It was reported that the trooper sustained minor injuries from the crash and was released from the scene after being treated.
