A fiery collision involving several semi-trucks slowed traffic on Interstate 75 in Marion County on Wednesday afternoon.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol stated in a preliminary report that troopers responded to I-75 northbound, near mile marker 341, in reference to a crash involving three semi-trucks.
FHP stated that after the initial impact, one of the semi-trucks became engulfed in flames.
There were no injuries reported.
No further details were provided in the report regarding the cause of the crash or the drivers involved.
Due to the accident, the outside northbound lane of I-75, in the area of mile marker 341, is currently blocked as of 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
