A fight over loud music turned aggressive along Amber Avenue in North Fort Myers Monday and has a neighbor fighting for his eyesight.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Donald Otto was arrested and charged with battery and burglary for this incident.
Anthony Orsini said John Thacker, who he calls Bo, asked him to come over and set up his speaker, to drown out their neighbor’s music.
That’s when Orsini said Otto started swinging.
“Seen him on the floor, he had blood coming from his eyes. It was crazy. After that, my mom was like, call 911. Cops came. EMT came, loaded him up,” said Orsini.
Neighbors said Thacker is now in Miami getting treatment. The hope is doctors will be able to save his eye.
“His eye is like, you know how you have like color in your pupil, it was just red and it was like blood going down. It looked like a horror movie.”
