Fire leaves RV destroyed in North Fort Myers

An RV fifth-wheel trailer was destroyed after it caught on fire in North Fort Myers Friday morning.

Smoke was spotted at Pondella Road and N. Cleveland Avenue, according to a witness.

The fifth-wheel trailer was fully engulfed in flames and was destroyed.

The vehicle was parked next to a building in the old Hancock Bridge Square plaza.

NBC2 is working to learn more. It is unknown if there were any injuries at this time.
