A burst of strong winds caused five trailers to overturn in Cocoa as Tropical Storm Debby moved into Florida’s Big Bend region on Sunday, according to the Brevard County Fire Rescue.

Fire and rescue officials said the incident occurred at 660 Tucker Lane in Cocoa and injured one person.

At the time of the incidents, winds were reportedly 50 mph.

The BCFR said the National Hurricane Center is aware of the incident and that they are working together to determine the cause.

“We will continue to analyze photos of the damage and corresponding radar imagery to determine its cause,” said the BCFR.

The National Hurricane Center said Debby is expected to upgrade into a Category 1 hurricane, which could cause more damage across Florida counties.
