Firefighters battle large blaze on Parkland property

Firefighters battled a large blaze that erupted Monday morning at a property in Parkland.

The fire was reported at a barn located in the 7300 block of Northwest 82nd Terrace.

Sky 10 was above the scene shortly after 6 a.m. as large flames and heavy smoke were coming from the structure.

Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Michael Moser told Local 10 that one firefighter was transported to a local hospital for heat-related issues.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
