An electrical fire tore through a mobile home in Indiantown on Sunday, displacing seven people.

Firefighters with the Martin County Fire Rescue (MCFR) responded to reports of a structure fire in the 11000 block of SW Kanner Highway in Indiantown around 1:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home on fire, conducted a search of the property, and extinguished the flames, according to a post from MCFR on Facebook.

Firefighters believe the blaze was caused by an electrical issue.

The fire displaced four adults and three children. MCFR reported that there were no injuries, and the Red Cross was contacted to assist the affected residents.
