Gainesville firefighters responded to a home engulfed in flames Thursday evening.
According to Gainesville Fire Rescue officials, firefighters responded to a home on Northeast 8th Avenue and Northeast 15th Terrace at around 7 p.m.
Crews say they were able to extinguish the flames and that no one was home at the time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
