The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 23-year-old woman from Orlando died in a single-car crash in Orange County on Sunday.
Per FHP, the woman was driving a 2019 Nissan Versa northbound on Lake Pickett Road south of Priest Court when, for an unknown reason, she lost control of the vehicle.
The car overcorrected, ran off the roadway to the right, struck a mailbox, became airborne, and then hit a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
