Crews with the Fort Myers Fire Department battled a house fire on Henderson Avenue early Thursday morning.
Firefighters, along with the Fort Myers police, responded to a house on Henderson Ave. around 1:45 a.m. for reports of a structure fire.
NBC2 crews were on the scene where they said the fire was put out, but smoke remained to pour out of the house for some time.
Police said there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
Firefighters told NBC2 that the inside of the house is destroyed as a result of the fire and smoke.
