A large fire at a Port St. Lucie home over the weekend caused severe damage to the home, as well as multiple vehicles that were in the driveway.

Images released by St. Lucie County Fire District and the American Red Cross Palm Beach & Treasure Coast showed the extent of the blaze that gutted the home’s garage along alongside the remains of a boat, sedan, and van.

According to the fire department, its crews were called to the scene, on Southeast Gay Court, shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Photos show heavy flames filling the three-car garage and flames rising from the boat that was sitting on a trailer. Other pictures reflected the charred husks of the van and sedan that were next to it.

Two people were displaced by the fire and received assistance from the Red Cross.

At the time of its post Saturday evening, the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
