A 60-year-old Gulf Breeze woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Reserve Boulevard and US-98 (Gulf Breeze Parkway) on Oct. 20, according to a press release from Florida Highway Patrol.

A Nissan SUV was stopped, facing south, on Reserve Boulevard and north of US-98. A Ford F-250 was traveling westbound on US-98.

The Nissan failed to yield the right of way, traveled into the intersection and into the path of the Ford, and collided with the Ford, according to FHP. The 60-year-old driver of the Nissan was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The occupants in the Ford — a 28-year-old male, an 8-year-old male and a 2-year-old female from Crestview — were transported to Sacred Heart hospital via ambulance. The Midway Fire District said the three individuals from Crestview did not appear to have any serious injuries.
