An exit ramp to Interstate 75 South is closed from Bruce B. Downs Boulevard after a pedestrian was fatally hit by a car Tuesday night, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Northbound Bruce B. Downs Boulevard was also closed, according to police.
The crash happened at about 9:20 p.m., police said. The driver stayed at the crash scene.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers are helping TPD close the exit ramp and the road is expected to remain closed during the investigation.
