Lanes of Interstate-75 southbound in Sarasota County were blocked due to a crash on Wednesday.
The crash happened just north of the SR-681/Venice Connector interchange at 7:40 a.m., according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
All lanes reopened about two hours later.
At least one vehicle caught fire as a result of the crash. There is no word on what caused the crash or if anyone was hurt.
